Menlo Worldwide appoints Pan director of North Asia operations

Menlo Worldwide Logistics has appointed Thomas Pan director of North Asia operations. Pan, a native of Guangdong, China, has had extensive industry experience in the China market. “The addition of Thomas to our North Asia management team will advance our commitment to supporting our growth through service, Lean and operations excellence,” says Jess Goldberg, vice president for Greater China.

Pan brings more than 17 years’ experience in all aspects of value chain management. His previous appointments have been in multicultural and complex business environments of multinational brands. His most recent position was operations director of Lee Kum Kee China, prior to which he worked for Wrigley Confectionary Asia Pacific Supply Chain as external manufacturing (OEM) director. He also has worked for Fisher Scientific as logistics manager for China and Hong Kong, general manager of Fisher Scientific Guangzhou operations and later for the same organization as PRC business development manager. He began his career at the Nestle China Dongguan factory, where he progressed to the position of purchasing and logistics manager.

“Thomas’ experience and China market knowledge will greatly enhance our China team,” says Gary So, Menlo’s managing director for North Asia. “Thomas brings to Menlo a rare depth of knowledge of the domestic market as well as a breadth of logistics experience that is crucial to supporting our growth in this market.”
