Horton has hired Michel Locquegnies as director of international business development, responsible for the company’s continued development of international markets, particularly Asia and Latin America. Locquegnies has more than 25 years of international business experience, including opening and managing businesses in Europe and Asia, as well as working with OEMs, distributors and value-added resellers on a global basis.

“We are fortunate to have on board an international business development director with Michel’s depth of experience,” says Geert Henk Touw, president and chief executive officer of Roseville, Minn.-based Horton. “Michel’s experience with international markets, including Asia, will serve the company well as we concentrate on increasing exposure for Horton’s engine cooling technologies.”

Most recently, Locquegnies was with Cenco Inc., a New Brighton, Minn.-based supplier of jet engine testing equipment, where he managed global OEMs including GE Aviation and Rolls Royce Aero Engines, and global airlines including Lufthansa and Air France. Locquegnies also worked for Plasmon, a U.K.-headquartered network data storage company, where he established OEMs, distributors and value-added resellers in China, Japan, Korea and other Asia countries.
