For-hire motor carriers with at least $3 million in annual revenue have a week to file their required Form M covering financial and operating results for calendar 2010. Under Part 369 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations, all Class I and Class II motor carriers of property and household goods must file the Motor Carrier Annual Report Form M by March 31 of the year following the year covered.

Under FMCSA regulations, a Class I carrier is one with annual carrier operating revenues of $10 million or more after applying a standard revenue deflator formula outlined in the regulations. A Class II carrier is one with at least $3 million in revenue but less than $10 million.
