Truck-Lite announced the release of a multifaceted training program titled “CSA, Choose Wisely-Choose Truck-Lite.” “Vehicle lighting is a prominent area of emphasis in the CSA vehicle maintenance category, acting as a flag to enforcement and potentially leading to a vehicle review,” says Bob Ives, Truck-Lite vice president of marketing. “The importance in specifying and using reliable and trustworthy products should be given significant attention.”
Over the next couple of weeks, Truck-Lite will be releasing a series of training materials that will help users to make informed lighting and harness purchasing decisions. Some of the materials will include a Compliance Safety Accountability and lighting brochure with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, a dedicated website with frequently asked CSA lighting questions and onsite customer training materials.
“At major trade shows, we will showcase Truck-Lite’s Roadside Repair Kit with just the right amount of lighting and tools to do an emergency roadside repair to get you back on the road in minutes,” says Sherry White, manager of marketing communications and services. “We will be raffling off these kits in our booth at major trade shows throughout the year.”
