Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores (www.loves.com) has awarded Gilbarco Veeder-Root a three-year contract to supply Gilbarco forecourt equipment, including Gilbarco fuel dispensers, Veeder-Root tank monitoring systems and Red Jacket submersible turbine pumps. “Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s superior quality, support and service network made it a logical choice to continue our partnership,” says Terry Ross, vice president of construction for Love’s.
Love’s says its decision was based in part on Gilbarco’s broad selection of dispensers for truckstops, including the Encore S DEF + 1 that provides diesel exhaust fluid from one hose and diesel fuel from another at the same fueling position.
“Travel plazas are looking for maximum uptime and minimal delays on their forecourt,” says Chad Johnson, marketing manager at Gilbarco Veeder-Root. “The Encore S Ultra-Hi dispenser meets these needs. Gilbarco quality means Love’s will enjoy the lowest possible total cost of ownership.”
