Terminal Exchange Services, the parent company of Secure Trailer Parking Network, announced the addition of Miami-based Southeastern Trailer & Container Repairs to its national network of secure trailer-parking facilities.
Southeastern’s 46-acre facility is available to over-the-road for-hire fleet carriers, logistics providers and drayage transporters with 24/7 onsite security, 24/7 access, security lighting, hot-shot hostler assisted staging, inventory controls, document handling and driver amenities. In addition, secure website inventory controls soon will be accessible to clients, giving them up-to-the-minute detailed information about equipment and cargo.
Other onsite services are container storage, heavy-lift transfer capabilities unloading and loading containers for storage, chassis storage and a 5000-square-foot full-service repair shop for gensets, mechanical and structural applications for standard containers and reefer units, In addition, trailer maintenance and inspections can be provided on a contractual basis.
Users have to be a client or a pre-approved vendor before they can pass through the front gate. All loaded trailers must have dispatch authorization via e-mail or fax before it is allowed offsite. All seals are checked and recorded upon arrival, ensuring cargo integrity.
