Meritor Inc. has appointed Christy Daehnert director of investor relations, responsible for communicating Meritor’s financial information and strategic vision to the company’s shareholders and other constituents.
“We’re excited for Christy to take on this important financial role for the company,” says Mary Lehmann, senior vice president of treasury, corporate development, communications and investor relations. “Her background and industry experience will serve us well as we continue to provide our investors with pertinent information.”
Daehnert previously was director of finance, aftermarket and trailers for Meritor. Prior to joining the company, she held positions of increasing responsibility in DaimlerChrysler’s finance department, following seven years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She replaces Brett Penzkofer, who has assumed the position of senior director of finance, Truck Americas.
