Construction work to repair and repave the intersection of Harbor Scenic Drive, Harbor Plaza and northbound Queens Highway in the Port of Long Beach began Monday, Oct. 3. The port says the work, which is expected to take four to five months, is likely to result in some traffic delays and lane closures, but roads will remain open during the work. There may be short periods during supply deliveries where there may be increased delays.
The Port of Long Beach, which is funding the project, has established an information line at 562-590-4167 where motorists can hear information and ask questions regarding the project.
