Love’s Truck Tire Care on Thursday, Oct. 13, announced that it has joined the Michelin Commercial Service Network, which delivers consistent service nationwide for trucking fleets at home or on the road, all ensured by certification and audit standards. Dealers in the network provide a consistent supply of new tires and retreads and 24/7 service.

Love’s also now offers select Michelin Retread Technologies tread designs in trailer and drive tire positions at its more than 100 U.S. tire care centers. The MRT process uses a patented curing technology designed to provide consistent results.

“Love’s is excited to broaden our relationship with Michelin,” says Dan Jensen, director of tire sales and service for Love’s. “Drivers trust the Michelin name and know that Love’s and Michelin together bring valuable solutions to fleets and owner-operators on the road.”

“Love’s Truck Tire Care is a welcome addition to Michelin Retread Technologies and the Michelin Commercial Service Network,” said Bill Guzick, vice president of business development for Michelin Americas Truck Tires. “The Love’s shops on highways throughout the country give fleets more options for consistent service and retreads wherever they go. The Michelin OnCall emergency road-service network now has access to hundreds of additional technicians nationwide who use the same standards and tools to service commercial vehicles.”

Love’s tire care centers offer new and used tire sales and repair, plus 24-hour roadside assistance. Love’s plans to add 50 truck tire care centers to its current locations in 2011. The addition of Love’s Truck Tire Care brings the Michelin Commercial Service Network to more than 400 U.S. locations that provide fleet customers with a comprehensive service package, including online reporting, electronic operating manuals and a full catalog of Web-based training on maintenance standards and practices.
