Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America Inc. announced that James Peary has returned from a post at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. in Kawasaki, Japan, to accept the position of MFTA’s director of business operations. MFTBC is MFTA’s parent company and a part of the Daimler Truck Group.
In his new position, Peary will be responsible for managing business process development, dealers operations, legal and regulatory compliance and providing operational support to other departments within the company.
Peary joined MFTA originally in 1997 as director of corporate systems, handling the company’s IT functions for North American vehicle sales and distribution operations. In 2007, he was transferred to MFTBC in Japan, where he served initially as manager of business development for International Aftersales. In 2009, he took on the concurrent role of manager of parts marketing and sales for Europe/NAFTA/Oceania.
Before joining MFTA in 2007, Peary spent 10 years at ADP Dealer Services.
