Hornady Transportation announced an expansion of its current operations, which includes the purchase of 40 new International ProStar tractors equipped with auxiliary power units and new lightweight 53-foot aluminum flatbed trailers. The new tractors are set to be delivered in December.

“We are currently realigning many areas of our company for better efficiency and productivity,” says Chris Hornady, president of the Monroeville, Ala.-based company. “In addition to upgrading our trucks, we’ve also consolidated our shop locations, updated our communication and technical support systems as well as expanded our maintenance support to seven days per week.”
