Cleaire Advanced Emission Controls announced the execution of a distribution agreement with South Korean company HAWES & T, an acronym for Human, Air, Water, Earth, Sea and Technology. This marks Cleaire’s first overseas distribution agreement.
The agreement allows HAWES & T to combine its own exhaust gas recirculation technology with Cleaire’s hydrocarbon-based nitrogen oxides reduction technology to achieve NOx reductions of greater than 50 percent while maintaining particulate matter emissions at a constant level. This allows Tier 1 offroad engines to be retrofitted to achieve Tier 3 standards.
“We are very excited about expanding into South Korea,” says Gale Plummer, Cleaire chief executive officer. “HAWES & T’s technical expertise along with their extensive knowledge of the South Korean emissions industry made them a perfect partner.”

Effectively immediately, HAWES & T becomes Cleaire’s exclusive distributor in South Korea to sell, install and service Cleaire products to the offroad vehicle market.
