Penske Truck Leasing has awarded Gilbarco Inc. a contract to install Gasboy Atlas diesel exhaust fluid dispensers at more than 200 sites across the country. Based in Reading, Pa., Penske Truck Leasing has more than 1,000 locations and 200,000 vehicles worldwide.
Gilbarco says customers like Penske choose Gasboy Atlas DEF dispensers because they are easy to integrate with their existing fleet dispensing solutions. The DEF dispensers are designed to fit the site’s climate; customers can choose either a warm-weather or a cold-weather model.
“Our DEF solution takes the jugs and totes out of the equation and turns the island into a one-stop shop for the fueling customer,” says Chris Kastner, vice president of commercial at Gilbarco Veeder-Root. “The strong partnership between Gasboy and PWI Inc., our local distributor, led to the development of a long term solution for Penske.”
Gasboy Atlas DEF dispensers are built to measure DEF accurately and reliably using a Weights & Measures-approved mass flow meter that has no moving parts. The mass flow meter and hydraulics are stainless-steel to help protect against DEF’s corrosive characteristics.
