The Port of Tacoma (Wash.) announced that its customer, Washington United Terminals, was selected by the NATC Group, which represents the regional Grand Alliance, to bring additional container lines and the associated jobs to the community. The port expects the new business to begin this July.

“We are confident that, together with our labor partners, we will continue to provide stellar service to our valued customers and community, and in doing so, will continue to realize new business opportunities at the Port of Tacoma,” says John Wolfe, port chief executive officer.
