Phillips Industries announced the addition of three new territory sales managers: Nick Chelman in the Southeast, Thomas Lewis in the South Atlantic region, and Kent Crymes in the Southern region.

Chelman has spent his career in the commercial vehicle industry, most recently as hydraulic cylinder/track rebuild shop supervisor with Kelly Tractor Co. of Miami. Previously, he worked for MHC Kenworth in Dallas in both inside and outside part sales to fleet customers.

Lewis joins Phillips directly from Great Dane Trailers, where he held the position of national account manager in Charlotte, N.C. Additional experience with Great Dane included time as national parts manager and outside sales representative in Richmond, Va. Lewis also has spent time with the Virginia Department of Transportation early in his career as a right-of-way agent.

Crymes brings sales and customer service experience earned in the financial services and health care industries.

“One of our most important goals over the last couple of years has been to increase the number of people in the field calling on both fleets and our distributors,” says Randy Walker, director of aftermarket sales. “Our company and our products are well thought of in the industry, but we knew we needed more people with direct contact with our customers in order to give them the best service available. We have been working diligently to fill that need.”
