Trinium Technologies, provider of enterprise systems for the intermodal trucking industry, has released Trinium-MC2, its next generation mobile application for smart phones designed to provide a cost effective means for trucking companies to improve operational efficiencies, including driver-to-dispatcher ratio, data accuracy and timeliness.

Trinium-MC2 is a web application that is compatible with any smart phone or tablet with internet access and a web browser. With MC2, drivers can now receive their dispatch trip instructions on any smart phone, and in turn update their milestones, events, equipment data, and pieces-weight-seal on MC2, which updates the dispatch module of Trinium’s transportation management system via the internet.

“Our intermodal and multi-modal trucking customers have used our Java-based application for years on basic cell phones and Blackberries. MC2 is designed to meet the growing demands for smart phone compatibility for mobile applications. The MC2 roll out also enables us to future proof the application, as we add functionality like document capture and GPS tracking,” said Dennis Lane, Vice President of Trinium Technologies.

The company says it will continue to focus in areas that will add value to trucking operations through practical deployment of web applications that are compatible with smart phones and tablets.
