Hino, Morgan partner for quick-delivery dry van body program

Updated Oct 3, 2012

Hino Trucks has partnered with Morgan Corp. on a quick-delivery dry freight van body program for its conventional trucks. Hino said this partnership will give its dealers across the country access to faster turnaround times on 24- to 26-foot dry freight van bodies and provide customers shorter lead times.

Available in October, this Quick Turn stock program will serve 46 states – excluding Hawaii, Alaska, California and Nevada – and trucks will be stocked through Morgan’s regional manufacturing operations in Morgantown, Pa.; Rydal, Ga.; Corsicana, Texas; and Lakeland, Fla. Hino said that despite regional stocking, customers will receive consistent, national pricing across the country that maintains the same price on the program bodies through all dealers.

“Morgan’s nationwide presence offers our customers unmatched service and support,” said Glenn Ellis, vice president of marketing for Hino Trucks. “Morgan has been a first-rate supplier to Hino Trucks over the last number of years and prides itself on industry-leading innovation, quality and delivery. We look forward to expanding our body program offerings with Morgan while maintaining the high level of quality and satisfaction that Hino customers have come to expect.”

“This new program is designed to have a 21-day turnaround from chassis or order receipt on stocked trucks,” said Chris Johnson, national account manager for Morgan. “In today’s increasing economic climate, Morgan is committed to helping Hino customers cut their wait time, provide competitive pricing and ensure the best product on the road.”
