SmartTruck’s undertray system designed for 28-foot Pup trailers

At this week’s American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nev., SmartTruck introduced its undertray trailer aerodynamic system for 28-foot Pup trailers designed to deliver fuel savings of up to 9 percent.

The system includes an aerodynamic rain guard for the trailer’s top rear edge, a nose system for the trailer’s front, side fairings and a forward undertray for use on straight-frame Pup trailers.

Different systems are available for both straight-frame and drop-frame Pup trailers. The components are made of polyethylene plastic and are 100 percent recyclable.
