Maxwell designs energy-storing ultracapacitor

Maxwell’s Engine Start Module is an ultracapacitor-based energy storage product designed to handle the high load of starting a vehicle, resulting in longer battery life and allowing it to run hotel loads better. The ESM helps with starts in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius and helps prevent the need for idling to warm the battery.
