This image from the back cover of the March, 1914 issue of CCJ features an ad for Stewart Motor Trucks — which survived past the end of World War II as a niche-truck builder. Today, a 1,500 pound rating is a pickup truck. Interestingly, the truck was priced at $1500 – a dollar a pound.
