Spireon and Sprint announced the formation of a relationship aimed at providing Spireon’s FleetLocate-branded mobile resource management (MRM) systems to fleet operators utilizing the Sprint network.
Sprint business sales teams will now offer FleetLocate to enable fleet and logistics managers to remotely monitor vehicles, trailers and assets using Spireon’s GPS (Global Positioning System) tracking and telematics capabilities. The arrangement also allows customers to include FleetLocate services on their Sprint bills, further simplifying the offering.
FleetLocate for Local Fleets offers managers of small and medium business service fleets the ability to monitor location and performance of vehicles and other assets remotely via computer, tablet or handset to help dispatch and deploy most effectively.
FleetLocate for Asset and Trailer Intelligence provides fleet managers and yard supervisors information about the location and use of their trailers to help manage assets and overall logistics operations.
