
By the 1920s, trucking’s reputation as a profession and important national industry was well-established. But trucking was still very new and in the midst of a breath-taking technology explosion. As with any start-up industry, hopeful entrepreneurs flooded in, taking advantage of the Stock Market Boom and cheap capital and labor. However, a crash was coming.
