Omnitracs, a provider of fleet management systems to transportation and logistics companies, announced the appointment of veteran software technology executive Kevin Haugh as vice president and general manager of its Roadnet Technologies division.
With more than 20 years of management experience in enterprise software, product development and marketing, Omnitracs says Haugh’s expertise will contribute to the development and execution of company strategy and its continued growth.
“Having led Roadnet’s product strategy, management and product marketing organizations, Kevin’s experience with and knowledge of the business made him an obvious choice to take on this executive leadership role,” said David Post, COO of Omnitracs. “His dedication to providing best-in-class solutions for our customers and his keen business sense ensure Roadnet will continue to be the industry leader in routing, tracking, scheduling and dispatch software for a wide range of industries.”
Prior to joining Roadnet in 2012, Haugh held executive management roles with numerous software companies including Opentext and Metastorm, where he focused on business process management, business intelligence, talent management, financial services and insurance administration.
As an early adopter and champion of software-as-a-service and cloud technology, Haugh was instrumental in delivering some of the first large-scale, enterprise software solutions. He has provided strategic counsel to private and federal organizations, including the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Presidential Administrations of George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
“It has been a pleasure working with such talented software specialists and innovators, both with Roadnet and Omnitracs,” said Haugh. “I am excited about this new role and look forward to helping to further strengthen Roadnet’s position as a market leader, while diversifying the company’s product offerings to meet our customers’ evolving needs.”
