Sylectus, a subsidiary of Omnitracs through Omnitracs Canada, announced that more than 8,000 trucks across 211 fleets have adopted its Alliance Virtual Fleet and Alliance Pro TMS offerings to expand their business operations, improve customer satisfaction and help ensure regulatory compliance.

“With more carriers upgrading from Sylectus’ Alliance Connect, which allows them to share loads and equipment, to one of our more comprehensive TMS offerings, which are complete dispatch solutions that help fleets run their entire business, there is now a surge in integrated sharing of loads and equipment, and an increased number of drivers benefiting from the uptick,” said David Post, president and chief operating officer at Omnitracs.

In 2014, 41 fleets joined or upgraded to the full Sylectus TMS, including Critical Cargo Systems, R.A.M. Express and Reynolds Logistics.

“With the productivity-enhancing offerings of the full Sylectus TMS, carriers can continue to effectively fulfill the needs of their customers, saying “yes” to every shipment request, while improving business efficiency and driver satisfaction,” said Kim Drouillard, director of sales and implementation at Sylectus.
