C.R. England announces training program changes, driver pay increase

C.R. EnglandC.R. England (No. 17 in the CCJ Top 250) has announced changes in its training programs and an associated pay increase of more than 12 percent for drivers in the company’s Phase 2 training program.

Effective Jan. 4, drivers will transition into the new Phase 2 program when they complete Phase 1. Phase 2 replaces the recently discontinued Career Advancement Teaming program.

“These changes in our training programs will further reinforce our commitment to our highly esteemed driver force,” said C.R. England CEO Chad England. “We are confident that these enhancements will positively affect drivers in training. In addition to the pay increase of 12.3 percent for drivers coming right out of Phase 1 training, the new Phase 2 program adds an emphasis on career growth and development for our professional drivers working at C.R. England.”
