Freedom CNG has opened a new compressed natural gas station in the Texas Permian Basin between Midland and Odessa off of Interstate 20.

Freedom says the station is capable of sending CNG-powered truckers west to El Paso or east to Dallas. The 24-hour station is located at 7400 West County Road 116, east of the Midland airport and, according to Freedom, is the only station in the area capable of fueling eight trucks at the same time.

Additionally, the company says the fill rate of 12 gallons per minute “far exceeds other compressed natural gas fueling stations in the market.”
