Building on its product suite of repair information and shop labor software solutions, Mitchell1 has launched its Manager SE Truck Edition shop management software for independent epair shops that service all makes of Class 4-8 trucks. The new software platform, announced at the 2017 Technology & Maintenance Council Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition in Nashville, was a two-year development to create a complete shop management solution for the medium- and heavy-duty repair shop market based on Mitchell1’s automotive repair shop management software.

Scott DeGiorgio, Mitchell1 general manager, said the product was developed in response to overwhelming demand from independent repair shop customers. “This provides the aftermarket shop the ability to compete at the dealer level,” he said. “Manager SE integrates every process within a shop, from the front end to the back end to help the shop manager run the business profitably and effectively. There hasn’t been a comprehensive shop management software in the truck market until now.”

Manager SE Truck Edition integrates with existing Mitchell1 software to provide a robust portfolio of business tools that can generate more than 250 reports and tracking metrics, including repair orders, purchase orders, invoicing, customer and vehicle information, vehicle maintenance history, scheduling to maximize bay throughput, service recommendations and more.

The software also provides a mobile-friendly solution – Mobile Manager Pro – that allows the user access to the software on a mobile device to greet a customer in the parking lot and gather information and schedule maintenance. Manager SE Truck Addition will be available March 1.
