Aimed at companies that want to help mobile workers more easily manage jobs in the field, Verizon Connect announced it has developed Work Mobile. The new app, it says, enables people to work offline and still receive job details, share notes, photos and signatures from the field to help increase speed and performance.

With near real-time job updates, administrators can see job status and communicate schedule changes to improve visibility and communication.

“The Work Mobile app helps make it easy to access and communicate job information to any smartphone without the need for paperwork or phone calls,” said Erin Cave, vice president of product management at Verizon Connect. “We’re delivering on our brand promise to guide a connected world on the go by giving customers the ability to plan more quickly and efficiently, and mobile workers benefit from the peace of mind that they’re able to stay connected even when they’re offline.”

Work Mobile has a simplified map and jobs list that provides a simple view of jobs and locations for the day. This helps workers plan their days more efficiently, and job details let workers record notes, upload multiple photos while onsite, collect customer signatures, record parts used, invoice and capture essential time spent on job sites.

The Verizon Connect Work Mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store with an active Verizon Connect Work subscription. For more information, visit www.verizonconnect.com.
