Knowing when to part ways with customers that aren’t making your fleet money is a skill that all fleet executives and managers need. At next month’s CCJ Solutions Summit, hear from two fleet executives that will give insight into when to move on from unprofitable customers.

Solutions Summit will be held Nov. 18-20 in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the Westin Kierland. Registration for the event is available online here.

During a session titled “Moving On: Lose the Customers You’re Losing Money With,” John Miller, managing partner with Plains Dedicated, and Amanda Schuier, senior vice president with Quality Transport, will discuss how declines in freight demand and other market forces can impact shipper-carrier rate contracts, and why fleets shouldn’t settle.

The discussion will also touch on how to break ties with customers without completely severing the relationship. More on what to expect from the session can be found in this report by CCJ Editor Jason Cannon.

Other sessions at CCJ Solutions Summit will cover varying aspects of how fleets can adapt in a changing market, including improving your equipment life cycle; turning your maintenance shop into a profit center; making money off the data you already generate; and more.

Registration is available here for $395 and includes all conference sessions, food functions, social events and activities. Registration does not include a hotel room. Hotel registration can be booked for a discounted rate during the conference registration process.

Attendees can also choose to register a colleague for $195, which includes full conference registration. A second colleague can be added for $175. Guest registration is also available with no conference access for $150.
