The Heniff family of companies is rebranding its North American food grade operations effective immediately.
Heniff (CCJ Top 250, No. 64) previously operated its food grade service under Carry Transit, which the company acquired as part of its purchase of Superior Bulk Logistics in 2019. The new brand will be Heniff Food Grade and the company’s tractors and trailers will feature a bright blue logo.
“As we closed last year with a great deal of M&A activity in the food grade space, we felt that a rebrand offered us a great opportunity to integrate those acquisitions under one recognizable service brand,” he added Tuesday. “The new Heniff Food Grade operation strengthens our identity under the new name and simplifies our market presence for our many stakeholders.”
Beyond a name and logo, the new brand allows Heniff to simplify its organizational structure and solidify its chain of command. It will also consolidate the company’s departmental service offerings under one team exclusively focused on safety and service for external and internal customers across its multi-modal network.
