Trimac acquires flatbed division of Watt & Stewart

Trimac Transportation (CCJ Top 250, No. 62) has acquired flatbedder Watt & Stewart, expanding Trimac’s service offerings, particularly in the mining, forestry and heavy equipment transportation sectors. Financial terms were not disclosed. 

With strategic locations in Claresholm, Altberta, Canada, and Lexington, South Carolina,Trimac President Matt Faure said his company's newest addition is ideally positioned to serve key mining and manufacturing hubs across North America.

Watt & Stewart also offers oilfield services out of San Angelo, Texas, which was not included in the deal.
