Phillips’ plug/socket combats corrosion

Phillips’ Sta-Dry QCMS2 plug/socket is designed to eliminate corrosion damage caused when road contaminants enter a truck’s electrical system. The plug/socket incorporates a Sta-Dry seal that semi-hardwires the electrical cable to the tractor to stop any debris from entering.

The other end of the electrical cable features the company’s field-repairable QCP plug; if the plug shows signs of corrosion, the cartridge can be replaced, keeping the QCMS2 attached to the tractor without breaking its sealed connection.
