New torque rod from Hendrickson

Hendrickson has released a new torque rod that the company says improves bushing design and achieves up to three-times longer life versus conventional forged or cast torque rods.

Manufactured using high strength materials and Hendrickson’s robotically-welded fabrications, TRAXX ROD bushings and rod bodies are specifically designed for each capacity and application criteria. The flexible rod design can accommodate a straddle or taper pin bushing and package with any hub size and length.

Developed in partnership with Driventic, the ELECTRAAX system is engineered for Class 6 and 7 vehicles.
