Like other publicly traded trucking companies, Schneider and U.S. Xpress see soaring revenues and profits in 2018

Following up on CCJ‘s coverage of second quarter earnings reports from publicly traded truckload carriers, here’s a look at income and revenue for Schneider National and U.S. Xpress, the two most recent large carriers to transition from private companies to public.

As noted in CCJ‘s July 30 story on carriers’ earnings through the first six months of 2018, tight capacity and record-high rates drove carrier revenues and profits to strong year-over-year growth. Reports from Schneider and U.S. Xpress were no different; here’s their revenue and income data stats for the first six months of the year, compared to the same period a year ago:
