The companies say that through this alliance, clients immediately will realize benefits in GPS data integration, enhanced fleet reporting/data analysis and cost reduction in compliance management through the ITS Compliance Inc. Fuel Tax Reporting Service. Additional data integration initiatives between PeopleNet and ITS are under way for Driver Qualification File Maintenance and Vehicle Registration Asset Management.

The new partnership merges PeopleNet’s GPS tracking and fuel purchase information with ITS’ Paperless Fuel Tax Reporting System and compliance and risk-management expertise to compute all state fuel/mileage and highway-use taxes automatically and accurately for PeopleNet customers. In addition, this turn-key service provides comprehensive fleet tax analysis reporting, tax return preparation/submittal, data retention,and IFTA/IRP audit management, representation and support by ITS for all joint clientele.
