Pegasus TransTech, an enterprise mobility, telematics, and business process automation provider in the transportation industry, has signed an exclusive agreement with the Simplex Group, which will promote and sell the next-generation Transflo Telematics system.

Simplex Group sells safety systems that address Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. The company will begin providing Transflo E-Log services through its DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Compliance offering, administering and monitoring electronic log programs for clients.

“The extensive set of compliance solutions we offer makes Transflo Telematics a natural addition,” said Gabriel Gonzalez, vice president at the Simplex Group. “Moving to electronic logs will be one of the most important issues of the year, and we’re excited to enhance our service offering. The Transflo brand is well known, and that’s important to our clients.”

Unique to the Simplex Group is its extensive client footprint in the Hispanic market.

“We continue to execute on our plan to provide a high-quality product in channels that are convenient to carriers,” adds Mark Spicer, vice president of Integrated Solutions at Pegasus TransTech. “Through the Simplex Group partnership we’re addressing the needs of commercial drivers in the Hispanic market, which is a significant segment that is often underserved.”
