Continental's ContiConnect tire management solution has been integrated into the Samsara trailer management platform. The integration was announced Sunday at ATA's Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting in Nashville.
The companies say the partnership was driven by customer demand for comprehensive fleet management solution that combines digital tire management into existing fleet management systems so they can use one solution to manage fleets. Under the new partnership, both companies will exchange data points, providing customers with access to a broad spectrum of trailer data. This includes in-tire sensor data from Continental, such as tire pressure and mileage.
The companies add they are committed to building an integration that enables fleets to improve safety, streamline productivity and maintenance intervals, optimize trailer allocation and planning, and gain comprehensive visibility into trailer assets.

“Our tire monitoring integration with Samsara delivers a comprehensive and user-centric solution, giving insights on the trailer’s status through one single interface. Keeping a trailer and its tires in top condition helps fleets to operate safely, sustainably and cost-effectively. This is how fleet operators are well prepared for future challenges,” says Clarisa Doval, head of digital solutions, Continental Tires.
The companies also note seamless integration of both companies’ data points into one system will be made possible by Continental’s third-party integration capabilities and Samsara’s open API.
"Samsara is the industry's leading Connected Operations Platform, where customers can now see their TPMS insights, alongside operational context of Trailers, Vehicles, Equipment, Workflows, and more. We've built the most comprehensive solution to provide complete operational visibility — this unified view empowers fleets to maximize uptime and drive unparalleled efficiency," says David Gal, vice president of product and engineering at Samsara.
According to the companies, this integration provides a comprehensive view of the fleet’s tires. This enables early detection of tire issues, access to vehicle details and history and real-time notifications of any tire problems.
With the seamless integration of Samsara and Continental’s ContiConnect Pro Trailer Solution, Doval and Gal say fleets gain a comprehensive view of their trailers’ health. Fleet managers and drivers receive real-time alerts on tire pressure, leaks or temperature issues directly within their Samsara dashboard, enabling immediate action. For detailed diagnostics and in-depth analysis, they can seamlessly transition to the ContiConnect platform.
This integration, through ContiConnect, helps identify potential problems like tire pressure loss or tire wear due to high temperatures before they become costly repairs. Predictive tire maintenance ensures that irregularities are caught early, reducing the risk of unscheduled downtime and keeping fleet operations running smoothly, the companies add.
