00:23 Carrier Transicold has introduced a new maintenance dashboard for its Lynx Fleet telematics platform where users can create customized preventive maintenance schedules for their transport refrigeration units based on performance data collected and communicated in real time.
The Maintenance dashboard uses Lynx Fleet’s two-way management and control capabilities to transform how users manage the scheduled maintenance of their TRUs. It introduces the ability to set up distinct preventive maintenance intervals based on calendar days or operating hours for up to three items on the truck or trailer, including total diesel engine hours, total switch-on hours, start cycles and high-speed engine hours. The dashboard shows where each asset is in its preventive maintenance cycle using precise numerical values and a simple color-coded indicator that flashes red, yellow and green.
Scott Blair, senior digital program manager of Lynx Fleet Telematics said, “With the maintenance dashboard, Lynx Fleet users can proactively schedule preventive maintenance based on what the equipment tells them instead of relying on calendar alerts and manual checks of TRU controllers.”
01:34 Uber Freight has rebranded to Uber Freight Shipping with enhanced features to its freight quoting and booking platform that include 24/7 support, rate comparisons and extended capacity options.
The company has experienced widespread adoption this year with a 176% year-over-year increase in new customers and 44% increase in less-than-truckload shipments. It aims to build on this momentum by offering its enhanced solution to small- and medium-sized businesses that are facing increasing challenges in managing their supply chains because of limited access to advanced, cost-effective technology.
Key features include: instant booking of full-truckload and less-than-truckload shipments via its ever-growing carrier network from a single interface; ERP integration; and instant, transparent quotes and rate comparison.
02:27 Trucking and logistics fintech company Relay Payments has expanded its partnership with TMS provider McLeod Software.
Relay integrated its lumper payments solution into the McLeod TMS last year, and now fleets can also integrate all fuel payments made using Relay into McLeod. The newly certified fuel integration enables carriers and brokers to see all their Relay transactions in McLeod for a simplified, more efficient process.
Since launching its fuel payments solution with the Pilot Company last year, Relay has quickly expanded its network by onboarding several new merchants, including Yesway, Maverik, and Onvo travel centers. Relay’s cardless payments are accepted at more than 1,600 truckstops, 2,400 CAT Scale locations, and nearly every grocery distribution center.
