This week’s CCJ Tech Shorts features a new camera solution, an AI-driven LTL audit and invoice resolution platform and so much more.

• Video telematics and fleet safety tech provider SureCam has launched a multi-view dashcam solution that delivers combined 360° visibility and AI-powered insights for commercial fleets.

SureCam Vantage provides up to six synchronized views around the vehicle – including road, driver, side, rear and cargo – by supporting up to six configurable cameras through a single dashcam device, without the need for a mobile digital video recorder (MDVR) solution.

In addition, SureCam’s all-in-one dashcam can incorporate Driver Monitoring System and Advanced Driver Assistance System capabilities to detect distraction, fatigue, phone use and other risky behaviors, as well as road hazards such as tailgating and collision threats. It also offers Geotab compatibility, enabling comprehensive safety scoring and operational insights.

• Transflo, a provider of mobile, telematics and workflow automation solutions for the transportation industry, has rolled out an AI-driven LTL audit and invoice resolution platform that automates invoice validation, resolves exceptions faster and improves cash flow by enabling broker-carrier collaboration.

Transflo Workflow AI for LTL automatically matches invoices in seconds instead of days. The platform manages exceptions by deploying specialized AI agents, each purpose-built to handle a specific, high-impact exception type with expert-level reasoning in real time. Every decision is explainable and auditable, enabling billing teams to manage outcomes instead of documents.

The platform also offers automated communication, eliminating email chains and delays; a complete audit trail, providing full transparency with logged communication and resolution activity; and a full set of performance metrics and dashboards, providing insights into data to identify recurring issues, optimize performance and strengthen partnerships.

• Korean radar solution company bitsensing has launched ADAS Kit, an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems solution engineered with a retrofit-ready architecture so it can be quickly and simply installed in existing commercial vehicles without disrupting operations.

ADAS Kit fuses two critical road safety sensors – radar and cameras – to deliver real-time driver warnings, including blind spot information system, surround view monitoring, rear collision warning, front vehicle start alert, forward collision warning and moving off information system.

The kit includes radar sensors for continuous object detection, camera systems to provide visual context, an integrated controller running core ADAS functions and a driver display.

The product is being sold as an aftermarket ADAS solution worldwide, including the U.S.

• Smith System is offering a new digital platform designed to modernize and expand how fleets operate, scale and sustain its certified trainer program, which enables fleets to certify internal instructors to teach the Smith5Keys principles.

The Trainer Center platform supports the full lifecycle of trainer-led driver safety programs – including scheduling, rosters, training documentation, content assignment and program reporting – in a centralized environment aligned to the Smith5Keys methodology.

A core capability of Trainer Center is the digitization of driver assessments. Trainers can capture real-time observations through customizable digital forms, with results automatically generating each driver's Smith5Keys scorecard and coaching inputs. The platform’s dashboards and reporting track activity, trends and indicators by driver, location or fleet, providing visibility into risk and where coaching and reinforcement will have the greatest impact.

The platform also provides a foundation for integrating broader driver risk management workflows, including telematics data, prescriptive coaching and continuous training assignments.

• Trimble’s PC Miler commercial mapping technology has now been integrated into the Fleetsafe.ai platform.

Fleetsafe.ai, an AI-powered video telematics company, selected Trimble for its accuracy, scalability and reliability across commercial vehicle types.

The integration will deliver fleet-optimized mapping layers and intelligent navigation tools, enhancing map visualization, routing accuracy, driver safety, operational efficiency and compliance.

The integration will initially offer enhanced map layers for cars, trucks and light-duty commercial vehicles within the telematics dashboard. Fleetsafe.ai plans to expand its offering to include Trimble’s CoPilot navigation to provide advanced, commercial-grade routing and navigation tools directly to professional fleet operators.

• In other integrations, Questar Auto Technologies’ predictive Total Fleet Health Management solution is now available on the Geotab Marketplace.

The AI-driven solution helps fleet operators detect vehicle issues earlier, plan repairs proactively and reduce unplanned downtime through predictive and prescriptive health insights. It also shows the estimated cost of early intervention along with the estimated downstream cost of inaction.

Through the integration, Questar combines its advanced analytics and industry-specific, patented AI Foundation models with Geotab’s data. Questar analyzes vehicle telemetry, engine fault data, maintenance history and environmental context to identify emerging issues and offer recommendations tailored to each vehicle ahead of failures.
