Police in Thornton, Colorado were led on a low-speed chase early Wednesday morning after an armed man stole a tractor-trailer while its driver was outside the truck making a delivery.
A report by KDVR-TV said a man jumped in a parked Sysco truck and when confronted by the driver, brandished a weapon and drove away.
Police used the truck’s GPS to track it, and at one point laid down spike strips to flatten six of the truck’s tires. The suspect, not yet identified by police, eventually stopped and was taken into custody.
