Anyone who’s ever driven in Atlanta traffic can’t help but be impressed with the driving record of recently-retired UPS driver Jimmy Howard.
After 43 years and six million miles navigating the whacky and often frustrating roads and highways of Atlanta, Howard retired accident free—both on-the-job and during his personal commutes as well.
Howard credits God and good training from UPS for his stellar driving record. After starting out at the company at age 22, Howard was soon promoted to driving regional routes in a tractor-trailer from Atlanta to Mississippi. Those 1,000-mile round trips added up through the years.
