A crowd of more than 800 people, including Volvo Group execs, trucking fleets, Mack dealers, traveled to Brooklyn, New York, (about 3 miles from where Mack Trucks was founded 125 years ago) to witness the debut of the new Mack Pioneer Tuesday night.

Jason Cannon has written about trucking and transportation for more than a decade and serves as Chief Editor of Commercial Carrier Journal. A Class A CDL holder, Jason is a graduate of the Porsche Sport Driving School, an honorary Duckmaster at The Peabody in Memphis, Tennessee, and a purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu. Following a 14-hour legislative markup, the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee approved H.R. 8870, the BUILD America 250 – a bipartisan, five-year surface transportation reauthorization bill that invests in America’s roads, bridges, transit, rail transportation, and highway and motor carrier safety programs.
