Palfinger appoints work truck body designer

Omaha Standard Palfinger has hired Bill Van Der Plaats as its new CAD Designer for the Work Truck Bodies division.

Van Der Plaats comes to the company with a strong design background and wide range of techniques in weight optimization and cost reduction. His primary role will be the design of both new product and non-standard customer orders in the engineering department based out of the Council Bluffs, Iowa manufacturing facility.
