Wild ride down memory lane

Most of us probably don’t recall a time where the primary decision when buying a work truck wasn’t “Chevy, Dodge or Ford?”

Way back when, the question was “truck or horse?”

In this throwback video you get to watch a 1920s Dodge get utterly abused on its way to an oilfield. 

The fact it survives some of the terrain is nothing short of impressive considering its suspension system was first-generation – meaning practically nonexistent.

Got to give it to the ole’ boys for flipping it, popping right out, setting back upright and going about their merry way. 

That was one tough truck – and a crew of workers, I bet.
