Chrysler recalls 650,000 SUVs over visor light wiring, fire risk
Some Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango vehicles may experience a short at the vanity lamp wiring after a service repair to the sun visor, headliner or while gaining access above the headliner. A “lack of care” during reassembly may result in an inoperative vanity lamp or a potential fire, so Chrysler Group is recalling 651,130 model year 2011-2014 vehicles for inspection and repair.
