Smart Energy Solutions, inventor and manufacturer of the Battery Brain vehicle aftermarket device, has announced that it will market its new product with International Truck and Engine Corp.-Canada. International-Canada will begin offering Battery Brain in Canada through its organization of more than 200 dealer locations.

Battery Brain is Smart Energy’s flagship device designed to constantly monitor electrical discharge of the starter battery for nearly all kinds of vehicles. Should Battery Brain detect that the battery is losing sufficient charge to start the vehicle’s engine, the device automatically disconnects the battery to preserve its starting power, the company says. Some models also offer an anti-theft feature designed to disengage power from the battery.

“On an annual basis, there are more than 400,000 medium- and heavy-duty trucks sold in the North American market,” saysd Pete Mateja, chief executive officer of Smart Energy Solutions. “International Truck and Engine Corporation-Canada is one of the dominant manufacturers and distributors in the Canadian marketplace. With over 200 International dealership locations across Canada, they provide a tremendous opportunity for Battery Brain to reach all segments of the medium, heavy-duty and bus market segments. In addition, Smart Energy Solutions will be participating in the International Maxim Impact Program, which will provide additional exposure for the Battery Brain product. Battery Brain will provide every International dealership location a solution for every truck customer who has faced a problem with either a dead battery or the theft of a truck.”

Smart Energy Solutions is headquartered in Clifton, N.J., with operations also in Zhuhai, China; Milan, Italy; and Petach Tikva, Israel. For more information, go to www.batterybrain.com or www.smgy.net.
