Decker Truck Line, based in Fort Dodge, Iowa, has announced its Drivers of the Month for February 2008: Willie Ingram, flatbed; and Larry Beasley, reefer/van.

Ingram, who lives in Lancaster, S.C., is a part of Decker’s Southern Flatbed division based out of Birmingham, Ala. “Willie has done an excellent job since he came on board with Decker,” says Robbie Walker, Ingram’s dispatcher.

Beasley, who resides in Silvis, Ill., celebrates 20 years with Decker Truck Line this December. “Beas is good at making me laugh,” says Myndi McCart, Beasley’s dispatcher. “And he always helps me out when I need him.”

Each month at Decker, dispatchers nominate drivers and owner-operators based on overall service and performance for that month in categories that include productivity, safety, maintenance/care of equipment (including idle time), payroll, billing and customer service. Each monthly award winner from December 2007 through November 2008 is eligible for 2008 Driver (or Owner-Operator) of the Year.
