The “Slice of Life” blog, in which three truckers describe their experiences driving the Cascadia, has been extended, Freightliner Trucks announced. The Portland, Ore.-based company says the program will stay because of its popularity and the drivers’ positive response to it.
For the last year, Henry Albert, Dick McCorkle and Kurt Grote have described their responses to driving the Cascadias equipped with a Detroit Diesel DD15 and newly added selective catalytic reduction emissions technology.
While Albert, Grote and McCorkle reported different experiences as they traveled across North America, all have had the same impression about the Cascadia’s reliability and comfort, as well as the DD15’s power and fuel economy, Freightliner says.
