All Points Transport Corp. of Michigan, an agent for Evans Network, has been awarded the 2009 Best of Dearborn Award in the trucking category by the U.S. Commerce Association. The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country.

Each year, USCA identifies companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. Recipients are determined based on the information gathered both internally by USCA and by data provided by third parties. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the awardees in each category.

“This award confirms what we at Evans Network already know — that everyone in our Detroit service center deserves this recognition for consistently delivering exceptional service,” says Matthew “Bo” Bates, executive vice president of Evans Network of Companies, based in Schuylkill Haven, Pa.

All Points Transport, operated by Bill Blasengym, provides rail trailer drayage to the surrounding communities of Detroit. Blasengym, who currently contracts with 33 owner-operators and has seven employees, has been in the trucking industry for 27 years when he started his career with a U.S. customs broker, then joined an international ocean carrier, and now has been with All Points Transport for the past 10 years.

“I’m very proud of my team for meeting the high standard of service we strive to deliver for our customers and community every day,” Blasengym says.
