CARB fines Rapid Harvest Co. $16,500, Chemical Transfer Co. $6,500

The California Air Resources Board fined Rapid Harvest Company $16,500 for diesel emissions violations. CARB says an investigation showed the Salinas- based company failed to inspect its diesel vehicles properly in 2005.

The board also fined Chemical Transfer Co. $6,500 for diesel emissions violations. CARB says an investigation showed the Stockton-based company failed to inspect its diesel vehicles properly during 2008 and 2009.
